Owner/manager was helpful and friendly. The property is one of the closest to White Sands National Park. The room was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was okay. It's an older property but has been maintained and upgraded over the years--a nice change from all the chains where I can't even remember what the room looked like a week later.

We booked the White Sands Motel hoping to see White Sands National Park but it was the exact the government shut down. Our host pointed us in the direction to at least catch a glimpse of the white sands and then directed us to fabulous restaurant featuring New Mexican wines. And it was within walking distance. Our host and the facilities were fabulous.
